RHA Policy has a new face!
The Road Haulage Association is well known for its team of industry experts; the latest being Jack Semple, former Technical Editor for Motor Transport who joins the team as Director of Policy, based at the Association's Weybridge office.
RHA Chief Executive Roger King said: "Jack is of course no stranger to this industry and we are delighted to benefit from his expertise. In 2006 the Association dealt with over 40 consultation papers covering nearly every aspect of the road haulage sector and 2007 already looks set to see this figure increase. I am confident that with Jack's help, our scope for success will be even wider."
Responding, Jack Semple said "I have worked closely with the Road Haulage Association for a number of years but already, after just one week in the job, I am amazed at just what the Association does for the transport industry as a whole and its members in particular. This is an industry undergoing tremendous change; I am confident that the RHA will be a key player in making sure that these are changes for the better."
