It should also be noted that in the majority of cases where funding is available it is paid to the approved Training Provider, not to the Employer or employee.

Learning and Skills Council

Funding Available for companies and individuals.

Funding Available for Companies

Profit from Learning

All employees 19-65. All Sectors but special emphasis on Care, Hospitality and Construction Industry.

Basic Skills -literacy/numeracy and/or NVQ2 or equivalent.

Funding Available for Individuals

16-24

  • Essential (Basic) Skills - Fully Funded
  • Learn to Earn - Fully Funded
  • NVQs and/modern apprenticeships - Heavily subsidised but may be fully funded.

Age 25+

  • Essential (Basic) Skills - Fully Funded
  • Management Development DMS/CMS (level 4/5) - up to 50% subsidy
  • Training Grant (Linked to Investors in People) - 25% Subsidy
  • And for just one year from August 2003, NVQ2 or equivalent - Fully Funded.
