The eligibility for membership of this Group is the active involvement in the carriage of milk in bulk for hire-or-reward. The Group meets approximately three times a year at a central London location and has, as its prime objective, the improvement in the efficiency and general standards of operation in the carriage of milk for the benefit of the milk industry as a whole.

To this end, the Group maintains close links with industry bodies, on matters concerned with consultative processes relative to the implementation of regulations, safe working practices at processing sites during discharging and loading operations. The Group has recently collaborated with the Dairy Industry Federation to produce a revised Code of Practice For The Cleaning Of Milk Tankers.

Socially the highlight of the year is the increasingly popular AGR-CON show which is organised in part by members of this Group. The annual subscription is £30 which maintains the Group's Special Purposes Fund.
